Curbing my compulsive magazine addiction hasn't been going as well as I'd hoped so far this year - I have to say I probably own all the January and February monthlies out there. And the arrival of the new ELLE collections magazine doesn't help! Finally, after relentlessly checking the shelves of Smith's every time I'm in town, it has arrived.

So it's time to settle down and read this baby cover to cover...sweet dreams!

I couldn't decide when I saw this whether Chanel and surfboards really mix.
Then again, their sport range even includes fishing rods, why the hell not?!

Hors la piste

Effortlessly chic and classic, this Vogue Paris shoot from 2006 is as stylish today as it was 4 years ago. I'd even go as far to say I prefer it to the edgier take that they shot for the Decemeber 2009 issue with brighter colours and bolder make up.

Classic wins every time for me.

The greatest compliment that one can be paid when in Paris: "Vous êtes parisienne?"

While procrastinating majorly from work in the library the other day, I found myself perusing the back editions of L'Officiel and stumbled across a captivating issue based around the theme of 'La Parisienne'...

An even greater compliment, I suppose, would be to be asked,

"Vous êtes parisienne?" when elsewhere.

Well, one can but dream.

New year...new you?

Oh ten?
One oh?

Who knows?! Still at a loss to define the year we have just begun, what I do know is not only are we at the start of a new year, but we are at the start of a shiny new decade everyone. Which means an even bigger of new beginnings.

My resolutions? Eat less.. Exercise more.. Spend less.. Work more.. Drink less.. Remember more.. and so on and so forth!

And in the spirit of all things new and optimistic, I have started this blog.. as an outlet for everything which will come my way 2010.
